Dodson Lumber sent two representatives to the annual Lumberman’s Association of Texas & Louisiana (LAT) show in San Antonio. While booth space was at a premium, we managed to display almost everything we brought with us! Our thanks to everyone at LAT who helped put together such a great show!

Snow drifts exceeding three feet were common throughout the region, completely halting rail and truck traffic and preventing employees from arriving to work. Thankfully, the storm did not cause any structural damage or injuries to Dodson Lumber property or personnel![/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
Dodson Lumber recently completed the purchase of an adjacent property formerly operated by ADOC Oil. As a part of the purchase agreement, the existing building was removed and the surface cleared of debris. Upon taking ownership, Dodson Lumber scraped and leveled the lot and erected a semi-private perimeter fence. Following a short discussion with the Roswell City Council, a building permit was issued for the construction of a parking garage. The parking garage and lot improvements were completed in the summer of 2015.

Armadillo’s super hard exterior shrugs off scuffs and stains and boasts superior resistance to fading. Made from a proprietary mix of 100% recycled material – including wood pulp and high density polyethylene plastics (HDPE) – Armadillo’s unique outer layer composition provides better control over pigmentation, resulting in a denser, richer color, more variation and a realistic finish.

In January 2015, Dodson Lumber began converting an unused horse pasture into additional outside storage. The newly available storage has already begun to alleviate yard clutter and traffic.
