On March 19, 2020, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security classified the wood products industry as an “essential critical infrastructure workforce.” Separately, in her address to the state of New Mexico on March 23, 2020, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham identified both commercial and residential construction as essential industries. As an integral part of the wood products industry and in support of the aforementioned industries, Dodson Wholesale Lumber Co., Inc. remains in operation as an essential business.
In compliance with the Governor’s directives and in accordance with the CDC guidelines, we continue to practice social distancing and have implemented numerous measures to ensure the safety of our employees, suppliers, and customers. Of note:
- Our front door is currently locked and all public traffic has been prohibited without a mask.
- Employment applications and inquires should be made online; paper applications and/or resumes will not be accepted at this time.
- Delivery trucks should not enter our yard without first calling our front office at 575-622-3278 for loading/unloading instructions.
- Our drivers have been instructed to remain in their truck while being unloaded and to not accept paperwork or any other item from customers.
